David, this is a fun, side piece to your Inference story. I like that. You're worldbuilding. Now, as someone who worked for IBM in Kingston NY back in the mid-80's for six months, I spent quite a few nights in Poughkeepsie NY going to bars and dance clubs (okay, like at least once a weekend - sometimes twice).
This was the craziest thing I’ve read on here. It’s one of those things I read and wish I could write it myself, but I’d need a lot of cocaine (or whatever drug produces pure, cyber-pun-loaded comedy).
I didn’t follow all the tech jargon but being able to follow it seems unnecessary. I think the point is, it’s another language grafted onto the one I speak. It’s like your Mexican buddy who talks in Spanglish. You get the gist, but with added mystery—no extra charge.
David, I’m excited to go check out EP2. This is a bizarre experiment, and I think it’s paying off.
